HINDRAF SEMAKIN LEMAH

HINDRAF LOSING GROUND

A clear indication of HINDRAF failure is the poor turnout during the HINDRAF gathering at Batu Caves on 2 DEC 2007. The Hindu community now realizes that HINDRAF has deviated from its cause the moment it misuses the temple for its own ends. Following the 25 NOV gathering in KL, HINDRAF leaders has been desperate for support that is increasing by dwindling. The attempted to rally 10,000 people for the court case in Klang on 26 NOV 2007 but less than 1000 showed up. One of the main reasons for this is because HINDRAF leader is seen to be fanning the fires of racialism as part of their agenda.

The Indian community realizes that the racialism issue played up by HINDRAF would eventually lead to the destruction of multi-racial Malaysia. HINDRAF exploitation of racialism is not only ridiculous but is down right dangerous. This include examples of their rhetoric whereby HINDRAF leaders claimed that 100 Indians were killed by the Malay during the Kg. Medan incident in the year 2000. Another example is the HINDRAF allegation that the government is destroying Hindu temples at the rate of one temple per day. These ridiculous and bare less allegation are designed to instill Indian hatred toward the Malays.

Life in Batu Caves is peaceful and serene. The construction and placement of the imposing Lord Murugan deity is another milestone in Hindu work ship here. Now, all these is marred when HINDRAF leaders manipulate this religion site to spread lies against the government and the Malays. This is wrong and must be stopped. Otherwise every time the Hindus step into a temple, the Malays will get suspicious and every time the Malays congregate in the mosque, the Hindus will get worry. This has never happened before and it must be nipped in the bud before it escalates into another Sri Lanka.

It is clear that the HINDRAF cause is racially motivated and will lead to public disorder and insecurity in the long run. The peace loving Malaysia people has time and again, rejected such extreme ad fanatical causes. Forget HINDRAF and let’s embrace stability and security. HINDRAF will only lead to despair.

Forget about the British connection and colonialism. Let us bury the post and work for better future for all. Remember, when the pas clashes with the present, the future suffers.

HINDRAF Wawasan 2020.

In any countries not everyone can be rich . That does not mean Government did not distribute the wealth . I have even open my eyes in this country n many other countries in the world . There are and always will be ppl from all walks of live.
SO dont talk rubbish ok .
And by two sets of rules means what ? SOme can be rich and some cannot be rich ?
In rural areas not only Indians yang susah also lots of Malays . So there is not 3 sets of rules there . You want to make somethig in life move on , hijrah . You cant just sit at home and blame everyone else but yourself .
I worked my ass off to make something in my life . Unlike you who blamed others when life is not good . Typical .

Have spine my ass !

And for the Kampung Medan I trust our Government than listen to that LTTE jerk who is a liar ....

UGUTAN P WAYTHA MOORTHY YANG KINI BERADA DI INDIA

Malaysia could be another Lanka: Hindraf leader

Chennai, November 30: The founder leader of Hindraf (Hindu Rights Action Force), spearheading an anti-discrimination agitation in Kuala Lumpur, P Waythamoorthy, has warned that Malaysia, with its 1.8 million ethnic Indian population (out of the total 26 million) would become another Sri Lanka. “We have not gone that bad (as the situation of Tamils in Sri Lanka) yet. But our biggest worry for the future is that we will turn out to be another Sri Lanka,” Waythamoorthy told The Indian Express.

The Hindraf leader, who is in Chennai after quietly slipping out of Kuala Lumpur to garner support in India for the cause of the ethnic Indian community, said: “We want Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi to use his good office and persuade Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, to issue a statement on the plight of Indians in Malaysia.”

Waythamoorthy is here to meet Karunanidhi and other Tamil politicians. He accused the Malaysian Government of using violence against the peace agitators on November 25 who even held up posters of Mahatma Gandhi to emphasise their “peaceful intentions.” Said Waythamoorthy: “The Gandhi posters in shops in Klang and Kuala Lumpur sold out within hours on November 24 when processionists purchased them in bulk and distributed them.” The police blocked the entry points into the KLCC and unleashed violence, using water jets, tear gas and batons on the protestors who had already arrived at the venue around midnight.

“The Government has made the people really angry. I don’t know what will happen the next time,” warned the 41-year-old Hindraf leader, who arrived in Chennai on November 28, three days after the uprising. He accused the Muslim majority government in Malaysia of demolishing thousands of Hindu temples across the country, particularly in the states of Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Negeri Sembilan, where the indentured labourers brought from south India by the British colonists had worked on the plantations here.

“The labourers, mostly from south India, brought forcibly into the country by the Britishers, brought their religious culture along and every plantation had at least 20 to 25 temples for Muneeswaran, Murugan and Kaliamman,” said Waythamoorthy. But after Independence, the plantations in the jungle stretches of Malaysia became the first casualty of progress and so did the temples.

“In the name of development, the Malaysian Government has used the bulldozer, razing down at least 10,000 temples. They claimed the temples were built illegally on government land,” said Waythamoorthy, alleging religious discrimination and also accusing the government of resorting to “forcible religious conversions” in Universities where the majority was Muslims.

But the latest provocation, according to him, was the demolition of a nearly 100-year-old Pedang Jawa temple where nearly 100 squatters were forcibly removed, their settlements razed to the ground. “But when the authorities began to break down the temple, the squatters put up a stiff opposition. The police used swords, batons and stones to attack the protestors,” said Waythamoorthy.

For the Malaysian Government, the red rag, however, was the November 25 congregation of more than 50,000 ethnic Indians near the KLCC. The plan was to go in a procession to the British Embassy nearby and hand over a representation to the Embassy officials seeking the Queen’s intervention in appointing a Solicitor and a Queen’s Counsel for fighting a civil action suit filed by Waythamoorthy in a London Court for a compensation of four trillion pounds for 150 years of suppression of the ethnic Indians.

In the run up to the November 25 uprising, Waythamoorthy and his Hindraf colleagues organised road shows in temple halls and public buildings (and wherever they could get permission without hindrance of the local police) to brief the ethnic Indian community, particularly the Tamils constituting 80 percent.

On November 23, the Hindraf office was raided and a day later, the leaders, including Waythamoorthy, his brother P Udaya Kumar, who is also the organisation’s legal adviser, were arrested. While a Malaysian court granted them bail late evening, Waythamoorthy turned down the bail offer and went on a hunger fast, protesting the police action in preventing those seeking to take part in the peaceful procession.

From Me To Waythamoorty you are..
THE SNAKE..THE BIG LIAR... One Temple for One Hindu????? All Hindraf people can apply Sri langka 's citizen now....
